Salsa and professional dancing have great reasons to celebrate, because the ESPN World Salsa Championship celebrates its first 15 years of successful history as the most popular televised salsa competition in the World.

For more than a decade, professional dancers from all over the world, from countries such as Australia, Argentina, China ,Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Japan, France, Korea, Italy, Spain, the United States, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, between others, have demonstrated the best of their professional talents and abilities before the cameras of ESPN.

To continue celebrating the magic of dance, starting next August 2, WSC will make available to lovers of salsa a varied series of Streamings, where fans will enjoy the skills of the best dancers in the world, in different divisions.

The ESPN World Salsa Championship is due to its audience and professional dancers. Adjusting to these difficult times we are celebrating in a different way. That's why this celebration is part of the various initiatives of the WDG to support the hundreds of professional dancers who have been seriously affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic”, said Noel Roque, CEO of the World Dance Group, producer organization of the WSC.

Starting on August 2, every week salsa fans will be able to enjoy this exclusive Streaming content. Each transmission will last approximately 1 hour, and will cost only 3 dollars per ticket, available at Ticketspice. Also, fans can take classes directly with the champions of each event.

Part of the money raised will be donated to the all the professional dancers who work hard to entertain the public with their art, and who have seen their agendas and sources of income seriously affected by the worldwide quarantine caused by COVID-19.

The series of broadcasts will open with the heroic journey of Colombian dancers Ricardo Murillo and Viviana Vargas, the first Cabaret Division Champions in WSC history. The show begins at 8:00 PM.

Salsa as an artistic expression will continue to have the WSC as a worldwide platform, as a space to enjoy dancing and to support the incredible professionals who share their skills with the world. Details of the 6th World Salsa Championship will be announced shortly, which will serve as the culmination of the 15th anniversary celebration.
