About US:

The 1st World Salsa Championship is brought to you by a group of salsa lovers under the leadership of Salsa celebrity Albert Torres. The group, called “Salsa Seven” is committed to produce the most memorable music and dance event in the History of Salsa Music. Salsa Seven have an unstoppable commitment to educating the public about this wonderful Latin Rhythm we call Salsa.

About Albert Torres and World Salsa Events:

Albert Torres is the world’s premier producer of live Salsa Music and Dance events. A noted authority on World Events and Entertainment, Albert Torres has created spectacular Salsa Dance Events known as “Salsa Congresses” in such exotic places as Dubai, in The United Arab Emirates, Japan, Hong Kong, Holland, Hamburg, France, Spain, Guadeloupe and England.

Since 1998, Albert Torres Productions (ATP) has created and produced the World’s largest Salsa Music event, The West Coast Salsa Congress in Southern California. ATP transforms the event’s location into an exciting music and dance venue that attracts over 30,000 Latin Music enthusiasts from all over Southern California, the nation and the world. ATP also endorses another twenty plus Salsa Congresses worldwide. This year’s event took place on May 23-29 at the Hollywood Park and Casino in Los Angeles.

Originally from New York, Albert’s passion for Latin music stems from his deep roots on the tropical island of Puerto Rico.  Growing up as a child on the streets of New York however, gave him the street-wise experience most of us only read about.  I’m beginning to realize that that type of experience is “Promoter Pre-requisite 101” for Latin Promotions and Entertainment.  Through thick and thin, Albert Torres Productions, Inc. (ATP) continues to deliver top-notch quality events with world-class performers from every corner of the globe.  His bands are legendary, with some of the finest musicians the world has ever known.
